Manolis Skourtis opens Athens Office for GBRW
Manolis was previously Head of KPMG’s M&A and Restructuring Practice in Greece, which he developed from 2007 onwards, and during that period acted as Monitoring Trustee of Piraeus Bank, reporting to the European Union DG Competition and the Bank’s Board of Directors.
Manolis has advised on matters including strategic business planning, financial performance, debt management, internal policies and M&A and is a KPMG-accredited restructuring and valuation specialist.

Trade Finance
GBRW Expert Witness has been extending its range of Trade Finance related expertise over the past couple of years. Three of our directors – John Turnbull, Martin Edwards and Paul Rex – have backgrounds structuring trade finance transactions and reviewing shipping documents. We are also able to propose expert support in trading physical commodities and commodity derivatives, as well as specialists in marine and aviation insurance.
We have recently signed an agreement with a group of specialists in the steel and metals sector and can now also provide experts on a range of technical and commercial issues, including raw materials supply, melt shop operations, casting, rolling, steel distribution and transport.
